However, I will be quick to say that this is done in the name of Jesus. Outside Jesus, there’s no means or route to Jehovah God.

The finished work of Christ opened the way for us to God who now is our Father not just the Creator.

We are in Christ and seated with Him on the right hand of God the Father with no barrier between our Father and us.

Our sins were washed away by the blood of Jesus. Therefore, sin consciousness has to be done away with. We have to be righteous conscious. We’re told by Apostle Paul in Romans 12:2, Amplified, “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), (fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs), but be transformed (changed) by the (entire) renewal of your mind (by its new ideals and its new attitude), so that you may prove (for yourselves) what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect (in His sight for you).”

There are two important points to note here.

Firstly, we are no longer in the world and secondly we’re no longer under the bondage of Law. We are now sons and daughters and not servants. Let’s keep renewing our mind.

We need to meditate on righteousness and not sin, guilt and condemnation. Zero in on 2 Corinthians 5:21: “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

If it means dealing with this for a whole week or year until it sinks in, then let it be so. The psalmist encourages us according to Psalm 107:2: “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.”

Let’s say it till it actualises in us. The spirit will overrule the mind and conform to the truth and the Word. As a follower of this platform, you know fully and well that Christianity is a speaking faith. We speak things into being. We are believers and, therefore, we believe. The Word assures us that it will come to pass. Luke 1:45, reads: “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

As we keep speaking, we change our world to Christocentric. In the spirit of faith, we adhere to 2 Corinthians 4:13-14, “(13) We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; (14) Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.”

Please always remember that we’re in the faith of Jesus Christ and that we’re believers not doubters. Sin consciousness has all along dealt us a blow that when we climb hills or descend slopes of life, we listen to the lies by the devil that our hands are dirty and we cannot approach our Father. If we avoid fellowship with the Father, the devil has access to toss us around. The blood of Jesus is speaking for us. Jesus our High Priest is interceding for us.

We’re new creation. The old self is gone for good. Sin consciousness has given us a wrong picture of God and a wrong picture of the new creation. It takes advantage of lack of knowledge to create a nonexistent gulf between our Father and us. We view God the Father wrongly. Sin consciousness makes us see God as a holy, just, austere, and unapproachable Being who is ever on the alert to discover sin in us and condemn us. That conception has made us afraid and caused us to shrink from Him.

That conception is wrong. He is Father God. The Godhead, that is, God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit lives in us. Jesus tells us in John 14:23: “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” You already know that Jesus obeyed to the end and kept the Law for us to be beneficiaries of grace.

The Word is powerful, therefore, we stick to it. Hebrews 4:12, New King James, is emphatic: “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.:

Please read, study and meditate on the Word or Bible. It’s powerful and alive. God the Father loves us. Let’s always fellowship with Him day and night in and/or through the Bible. Jesus made it clear in John 16:27: “For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.”

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.

Amen. Grace and peace be multiplied to you through knowledge.
