WARRIORS defender Teenage Hadebe has made it into the Turkish Super Lig’s best players for the 2019-2020 season.

Hadebe is the only player from Yeni Malatyaapor who made it into the best 11 players, which were dominated by eventual champions Istanbul Basaksehir, which had four players.

The former Chicken Inn defender, who joined Malatyaspor from Kaizer Chiefs last year, when many thought he was going to be axed from the South African giants, confirmed the latest development on Twitter.

“It can only be God. My mother’s blessings,” Hadebe wrote.

Hadebe’s Yeni Malatyspor survived relegation after the Turkish Football Federation decided to suspend relegation of clubs from the top league this year and the tough-tackling defender is said to have attracted the attention of top Turkish clubs and also in the English Premier League.

The list of Turkey’s best also features Congolese defender Fabrice Sakala, who plays for Alanyaspor.

The four players from Basaksehir who made it to the best 11 are Irfan Kahveci, Edin Visca, Junior Caicara and Slovakian Martin Skrtel, who once played for English Premier League champions Liverpool.

Super Lig runners-up Trabzonspor provided three players in former Crystal Palace’s Alexander Sorloth, who hails from Norway, Argentine Jose Sosa and Urgucan Caker.

From Alanyaspor, there is Greek Anastacios Bakasetas, while Sivasspor’s Hakan Yandas Mert completes the list.
