AS Bulawayo City angle for a quick return to the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, they face stiff competition from Talen Vision, who are also eyeing the promotion spot.

The two sides play away this weekend in this reverting Zifa Southern Region Division One league title race.

Two points separate the two Bulawayo-based clubs, with Bulawayo City leading the pack with 29 points from 13 games.

CIWU, who are six points behind the log-leaders are third, while perennial campaigners ZPC Hwange are fourth on 22 points.

City, coached by Try Ncube, are on the road to Hwange tomorrow where they face Makomo, who are on 21 points, in a match that will be played at Mpumalanga in the coal mining town.

Talen Vision will be away on paper as they take on Arenel Movers at Crescent Sports Club in Bulawayo.

They are coached by former Highlanders and Harare City gaffer, Mkhuphali Masuku.

They are so determined to win the promotion ticket. They recently signed veteran striker Obadiah Tarumbwa from top league side Chicken Inn in order to enhance their chances.

Last week, both sides played goalless draws with Bulawayo City, sharing the spoils with CIWU while Talen Vision were held by ZPC Hwange.

Both teams are yet to lose a match in the league, with City on eight wins and five draws while Talen Vision have seven wins and six draws.

CIWU are inactive this weekend and ZPC Hwange will look to make full use of the opportunity to leapfrog to third when they entertain Mosi Rovers at Ingagula in Hwange.

Bosso 90, also on 21 points, host troubled Toronto at Crescent Sports Club.
