The fashionable and classy shop is a third in the country but first in the capital with other Haefelis shops in Bulawayo and Victoria Falls.

Simbisa brands chief executive officer, Warren Meares, said Haefelis has been a landmark brand in Bulawayo and is a great addition to the café culture in Harare.

“Haefelis offers a variety of delicious confectionaries such as croissants, doughnuts and a range of cakes. It does not end there. There is also a wide selection of scrumptious café meals, like burgers, steak rolls and filled baguettes. For those looking for wholesome breakfast options there are omelettes, French toast, and fruit bowls,” he said.

“When it comes to cafés, food is important, but so is the ambiance. Haefelis caters for all walks of life and is the perfect place to come and chill with friends, go on a coffee date, have lunch with family or hang out on a lazy day.”

Meares said Simbisa Brands derived value in giving back and enriching communities.

“The opening of the Chisipite Shopping Centre is an important avenue for providing jobs and opportunities for the larger Harare community. The name ‘Simbisa’ means ‘strengthen and empower’ and that is one of the cornerstones of Simbisa Brands,” he said.
