The former Caps United coach, who is now in his second term at the Lowveld-based side, said they can’t afford another defeat following their loss to Shabanie in the season opener last week.

He said four players, midfielders Raphael Madamombe, Anelka Chiwandire and strikers Simba Makoni and Patrick Madekezhi, were all out injured.

“It’s very hot in the Lowveld and we always hope that it’s hot on the match day because it usually works to our advantage,” Mangwiro said.

“I have been here for two years, but it’s still difficult to adapt. We are looking forward to our match on Sunday. This is going to be a tough match, but at the same time, we don’t want to put ourselves under unnecessary pressure by losing a second consecutive match.

“We have four players with injuries, yes, we would like to play the match with all our players, but its football so we are going to use the arsenal at our disposal.”

Mangwiro last year was under pressure from some sections of Triangle fans, as the side blew hot and cold during the course of the season.

They ended up fighting relegation despite enjoying good financial support from giant sugar producing company, Tongaat Hulett.

Mangwiro will be hoping the pint-sized Pasca Manhanga, who re-joined the team from How Mine this term, will return to his former sparkling form that made him a household name and also earned him a Warriors call-up a few years back.
