Embattled President Robert Mugabe as chancellor of all State universities was to officiate at the ceremony.

MSU director of information and public relations Mirirai Mawere could not be reached for comment.

But officials at the institution said the notice was pulled to allow for change of dates should events in the political domain make it impossible for the graduation to be held on Friday.
