THE Midlands State University (MSU) has pulled from its website a graduation notice plaaced early this month notifying graduands of the ceremony that was to be held on Friday amid indications the political environment obtaining in the country could have influenced the move.

MSU is now flighting a new notice without a graduation date.
“Midlands State University wishes to advise its valued stakeholders that the 2017 graduation ceremony is now imminent and the date will be announced in due course,” MSU said in the notice.
Embattled President Robert Mugabe as chancellor of all State universities was to officiate at the ceremony.
MSU director of information and public relations Mirirai Mawere could not be reached for comment.
But officials at the institution said the notice was pulled to allow for change of dates should events in the political domain make it impossible for the graduation to be held on Friday.
