Defender Zephania Ngodzo was red-carded in their last game against How Mine at Luveve last week while Innocent Kutsanzira is sitting on three yellow cards with skipper Zibusiso Sibanda and Sipho Ndlovu ruled out due to injury.

Despite beating How Mine 2-1 last Wednesday at Luveve, the local authority side is still hanging precariously on position 12 with 35 points just four ahead of Shabanie Mine and five above Hwange who are deep in the relegation zone.

Bulawayo City head coach Mandla Mpofu said the challenges faced by his side were no excuse.

“I have to psyche up my players to rise to the occasion. We have to dig deeper if we are to move away from the relegation zone. There are no two ways about it, this is a must-win game,” Mpofu said.

He welcomes back Ismael Wadi and Morris Kadzola, who missed the Chibuku Super Cup semi-final against Harare City due to suspension.

With five games to go, Chapungu on 37 points are not safe from relegation either and coach Tendai Chikuni was at Barbourfields Stadium last Sunday to watch Bulawayo City lose to Harare City in the Chibuku Super Cup semi-final.

Chapungu, who held Ngezi Platinum Stars to a 1-1 draw at Ascot last Wednesday, sit on position 10 on the log table.

Limping from a 3-1 defeat to Caps United on Thursday evening, Highlanders, with nothing to fight for, host Black Rhinos at Barbourfields tomorrow.

Black Rhinos drew 0-0 with Caps United last Thursday.

In Beitbridge, Tsholotsho entertain Bantu Rovers at Dulivhadzimo Stadium tomorrow.
