The Putu Putu hitmaker featuring Dj Maphorisa, Naaq music, Dj Tira and Dj Soxx is set to be in the country for a talent search in which he says it is something that stimulates growth in African music.
Speaking about his possible collaborations with Zimbabwean artists Giver Boi says it will not be difficult for him to work with fellow Afro pop artists.
“What I am looking for is an African blend that can tell our own story better, with our cultural differences working with people in my same genre can produce something better because it’s something I can relate to” he said.
Speaking about his musical career, Giver Boi says it was just one single – Putu Putu – that turned his life from just a dream to a great musical fortune.
“My first single changed my life and gave me hope that I was here to stay in this music industry. I strongly believe that music is now a strong weapon that we can use to fight a lot of social ills such as drug abuse and prostitution” he said
“It was after this song that I got spotted and signed by one of South Africa’s most recognised recording label Ruby Dust Entertainment” he added
