The Gweru-born musician said he was driven by the passion to preach the gospel to people and released the album after a two-year sabbatical.

“I am happy that I have done this album after having been quiet for almost two years. This album contains message of love for one another. It contains songs on giving the poor and widows as well as songs of repentance. The album is for everyone,” he said.

The album was recorded by Luckie Kaparautsi at Joy of Life Studios and carries tracks that include Mbiri Yangu, Kuchema Kwenherera, Nepfuma Yedu and Kugamuchira Mweya.

“The spirit of releasing more albums is kept alive by my personal prayer life and unwavering dedication to Bible study. I do not sing for financial gains but to uplift the spirit of those who are down and weak in spirit,” he said.

The 30-year-old musician began penning songs while doing Form 1 at Fletcher High School before releasing his debut album Maimbiro Edenga in 2009. The album carried popular song like Tiri Vakundi. In 2012 he released the album Ndarota before adding another one, Hymns Revisited, three years later.

He has shared the stage with Tryson Chimbetu, Alick Macheso, Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave, Sebastian Magacha and Takesure Zama. He also did a live DVD recorded at Kingstone House in Harare in 2014.
