The platinum miners fell 2-1 in Angola and need an outright win in today’s match which kicks off at 2pm.

Yesterday, coach Tonderai Ndiraya said that his team will adopt a different approach to the one they employed in the first leg and will have more ambition.

He predicted that Libolo may try to employ defensive tactics to protect what they have, but he said he is prepared to unleash his team in such circumstances.

“I think the Angolans may want to try and play a defensive game since they won the first leg,” Ndiraya said. “We have been preparing our team for such and we will also take a different approach from the one we had in the first leg. We will be on offensive and we have taken out a few of the defensive players replacing them with exciting and offensive players.

“We are focusing on getting a good result, we want to please our community back in Mhondoro and the nation at large.”

Ndiraya said, while his boys were full of confidence, he felt that they were also under pressure going into this match considering they will be chasing the tie.

“We have had a busy week, we have been working hard and concluded our preparations today (yesterday). I can say we are raring to go, we can’t wait for the game. Preparing for a game like this at the back of a defeat means there is bit of pressure on the players, so we have been trying to take that away from them so that they can approach the game with relaxed minds. We have been educating the players to just focus and fight hard to get the result that we require.”

Ngezi have been boosted by the return of striker Kelvin Bulaji, who missed the first leg through injury.
