Takwara left the country on Wednesday for the commencement of his auditions, where he is expected to link up with compatriot Tapuwa Kapini, who already on the books of the Balfour Park based side.

Takwara did not enjoy much game time for the better part of the season, but proved his worth when he was given an opportunity by coach Norman Mapeza towards the end of the season.

This is not the first time that Takwara has tried his luck in South Africa and he will be hoping that this time it will work out for him.

Takwara’s manager, Gibson Mahachi confirmed the developments.

“He started training with them yesterday (Wednesday) and is supposed to be with them for a week,” Mahachi said.

FC Platinum has completed the signing of Brett Amidu possibly as a replacement of Takwara, who has continued to attract the attention of foreign clubs.
