The event, which brings together some of the country’s best car handlers for one final grand smoke out, as well as presenting spin enthusiasts with the ultimate spin spectacle of the year, will also feature top local wheel spinners, who will be providing entertainment at the show.

On the entertainment side, multi-award-winning wheel spinner and musician, RayDizz will headline a star-studded line up of DJs to entertain music fans and motoring enthusiasts at the event.

He will share the turntables with other famous club DJs like Selekta Base, T Fresh, Saunz Movers and Swag Bakers. One of the event organisers, Kuziva Nkomo, said preparations for the show were at an advanced stage, with The General promising fireworks at the event.

“We have invited one of the most respected spinners in the region, The General, from Botswana, who is not new to local motoring fanatics, having been here on several occasions,” he said.

“The General has participated in most of the major burnout events throughout the Sadc region and has several accolades under his belt. He has been supportive from the time we started our shows at Longcheng Mall and he is a great entertainer, who is well respected across boarders in spinning circles.”

Nkomo said several teams that fall under Ice Motors stable such as Mabhanditi Connection, 3RD District as well as Votron spinners would provide the bulk of the local spinners, who will fight it out with Leepile for the 2016 spinning bragging rights alongside experienced spinners among them, Cici Boy, Boss Ice, Shorty, Kudzi and Red Lion.

He said the event has been designed around a family-friendly and sporty concept, with free entry for children under 12 and braai stands would be available.
