The gig is meant to celebrate the official launch of the Surrey Open Area Braai, a place that was constructed few months ago in honour of the entertainment lovers who often come to buy braai packs before seeking for another spot to braai the meat.

The launch will see talented sungura ace Alick Macheso perfoming while Pengaudzoke frontman Faheem Somanje is set to warm up the stage for Extrabasso, as Macheso is affectionately known.

Surrey Group national sales manager, Ranganayi Zihumo, told this paper yesterday that they were now just waiting for the braai party to rock, adding that revellers should not worry about meat sausage.

“All is set for the Open Area Braai launch on Sunday. We have put everything in place that includes the braai packs and the braai stands. We have added five more portable braai stands from the twelve we had to avoid congestion. We have two big built in braai stands as well. All in all we are more than ready to hosts every reveller as we have sufficient braai packs to take us throughout the event,” he said.

People will pay $3 upon entrance and get a braai pack while those who buy two quarts of beer will also get a free braai pack.
