A ZIMBABWEAN driver of a Johannesburg-bound intercity coach from Bulawayo was killed on the spot yesterday morning in a head-on collision with a small truck near Louis Trichardt.

It’s not clear whether occupants of the small truck survived the impact in which their vehicle ploughed into the bus at around 4am.
Limpopo province police spokesperson Lt Col Ngoaphe Moatshe confirmed the accident, but deed not give details.
“I can confirm the accident, but details will follow,” Ngoaphe said in a phone interview.
A driver of another crossborder bus yesterday identified the deceased driver as Mbekezeli Sibanda of Bulawayo.
The accident occured about 130km south of Beitbridge near the Tropic of Capricon.
Some passengers were injured, said the driver who asked not to be named
