Harare International Conference Centre

Award-winning South African singer, Toya Delazy tonight serenades revellers at Harare International Conference Centre as part of her Rocking the City tour across Africa, which will see her performing 20 shows in seven countries over seven weeks. The RnB superstar will be supported by Ammara Brown, Macy and The Red, Simba Tags, Hip Hop dancers, guest performer, Tamy, AlkaNemo, Dice and Probeatz among others at the concert.

Alliance Française

Alliance Française in Harare tomorrow hosts Tendai’s Arts and Culture Festival featuring live performances by top local female artistes Selmor Mtukudzi, Tariro neGitare, Edith WeUtonga, Macy and Tambarimba Marimba group. The festival will showcase different arts and crafts, with live demonstrations of stone carving, painting and food preparation. Wine tasting and traditional food sampling are some of the activities at the event. The festival is mainly focused on showcasing works by women, and various aspects of Zimbabwean culture, a percentage of the proceeds will go to charity.

Long Cheng Plaza/Rainbow Hotel Bulawayo

Organisers of the DreamStar Zimbabwe Talent Show, the Chinese Federation of Zimbabwe, will tomorrow host the competition’s regional auditions in Harare and Bulawayo for the third edition of the competition. The auditions will be held at Longcheng Plaza and Rainbow Hotel in Harare and Bulawayo, respectively. The grand finale has been set for December 17 at the Harare International Conference Centre.

Borrowdale Race Course

Alick Macheso headlines this year’s Commissioner-General of Police’s Horse race at Borrowdale Race Course. Backed by his Orchestra Mberikwazvo, the Madhawu hitmaker will be supported by dancehall singer Soul Jah Love, veteran jazz icon, Bob Nyabinde and the Police Band.

Zimbabwe German-Society

Zimbabwean American Dramatic Arts Collaborative Organisation, Almasi Collaborative Arts tomorrow presents a stage reading of Ruined by Lynn Nottage at Zimbabwe German-Society. Popular local radio personality, Kudzai Sevenzo will direct the reading presented by Almasi as part of their Staged Reading series aimed at encouraging Zimbabweans to engage more actively in the performing arts.

Harare Gardens

Jah Prayzah, Trevor Dongo, Cindy Munyavi, Guspy Warrior, Daruler, Maggikal and Wired to Worship will on Sunday converge at Harare Gardens for a charity concert dubbed, “Making a Difference” organised by Danai Children’s Home to raise funds for the upkeep of the children.

Damview, Chikwanha

Popular dancehall singer, King Labash tomorrow celebrates his 34th birthday with a music bash featuring several dancehall chanters at Damview, Chikwanha in Chitungwiza. At the bash dubbed Rasta Ndoenda Nemi, King Labash will be joined in celebration by Dadza D, Ricky Fire, Lady B, Hwindi President, Dobba Don and Guspy Warrior.

The Volt Night Club

Huggiez Entertainment tonight celebrates its 10th anniversary at The Volt Night Club in Harare. The show will feature veteran wheel spinners D-Train, Witness Matema, Flabba and Kudzi Marudza.

Dandaro Inn

Reggae fans are in for a treat tonight at Dandaro Inn, Showgrounds, as famous reggae outfit Transit Crew performs at the joint. Since its formation in 1988, Transit Crew have developed into one of the best reggae ensembles in the country.

Legends Sports Diner

Legends Sports Diner in Nyameni, Marondera tonight hosts the Dhewa Commemorations in honour of the late sungura kingpin, Tongai “Dhewa” Moyo, who succumbed to cancer in 2011. Sulumani Chimbetu, Senator Tichareva and Peter Moyo will take turns to entertain patrons at the show. Resident wheel spinner, DJ Ninja will be rocking it on the turntables.

Club Mandisa, Mutare

Raunchy dancer Zoey Sifelani and her Red Angels tomorrow perform at Club Mandisa in Mutare. The popular dancer will share the stage with dancehall singer Kinnah.

Kaprinis Bar, Gweru

Ex Q, Trevor Dongo and King Shaddy will today clash with renowned DJs Smiley, Tamuka and Tunemaster, among others, at Kaprinis Bar in Gweru at a show dubbed the Bumris Entertainment Summer Jump Off Tour before heading for Caravan Park, Zvishavane for another show.
