The tour of duty comes soon after their return from Italy, where they put up a scintillating performance.

Spokesperson for the outfit, Zanele Manhenga, told NewsDay that they were excited about the forthcoming tour and looking forward to performing in Mbabane.

“We are extremely excited to be performing in Mbabane this coming month. The fact that August is women’s month and we are also going to be holding a workshop with women in arts during our stay, is really humbling,” she said.

She said their songs were all-encompassing in an Afro-centric manner, which was why international audiences could easily identify with their music.

“All our songs highlight different scenarios in our Zimbabwean and African set-up. We would not say all we talk about is abuse or love, but you will realise that we use different languages to also celebrate the beauty of being Zimbabwean above anything else,” she said.

The group has performed in Belgium, Germany, Austria and Canada, among other countries outside Africa.
