Up to 50 leaders in the fields of private equity, venture capital, infrastructure financing, distressed debt and other investing topics are expected to participate in panel discussions.

“The convening power of this event is bringing together capital and ideas. As an entrepreneur, start up or business owning unique ideas, this is a place to meet individuals and organisations that can provide the capital for tomorrow’s conglomerates. For the capital provider, the Financial Markets Indaba is drawing some of the most exceptional minds with “ideas inspiring a future,” Indaba Africa, who are organising the event, said.

“The people you will meet, the conversations you will have and the partnerships that will grow out of them make this conference an important investment.”

Part of the participants will include over 300 key decision makers from corporates, banks, start-ups, local and international fund managers, advisory firms and senior government officials.

Themed: Ideas inspiring a future, the conference is expected to tackle financial challenges plaguing the country and look at ways to restore trust in the sector.

Indaba Africa is an emergent research network of interactive conferences that seeks to profile the potential of Africa.

Emergent Research, a unit of Emergent Capital Management is an investment research and advisory firm based in Johannesburg and Harare.

The firm specialises in multi-asset research and analysis and provides support to institutional investors including pension funds, fund managers and corporate.
