“I am finalising the project and I can assure you that I am 70% done. We will take the album launch to three different cities as a way to capture new markets,” Sokosi said, adding that he was banking on Zembe’s experience and wisdom.

“Since childhood I have drawn inspiration from Mkoma Noel (Zembe), his music inspires and strengthens the spirit.”

He said he was honoured to be working with Zembe, who is renowned from his time with the Frontline Kids, especially for the hit song, Ndaiwana Hama.

Sokosi’s video for the single Zimbabwe featuring Kadoma based Luwiza rocked national television ZBC TV late last year.

The Kadoma-born Sokosi grew up in Masvingo before moving to Gwanda. His two previous albums Ivai Nesu and Uya Kuna Jesu rocked the airwaves with some of the tracks topping Radio Zimbabwe charts.
