Queen Vee, as the 2008 Miss Zimbabwe is popularly known, has so far exuded glamour on and off the set coupled with a fair stint of successes as a musician in Zimbabwe and South Africa, her base over the past five years.

The 27-year-old mother of one said she was back in the country to grow her career on home soil. “I have been in the (music) industry for the past five years and now I have decided to move back to Zimbabwe from South Africa so I can speak more to the masses here,” said Queen Vee.

Her new release, Mari Mari, featuring Zimdancehall chanter Soul Jah Love, is frequenting local charts and recently broke into the BBC Radio’s 1 Xtra Music Bot playlist prompting her to start an online dance challenge which will see top three winners getting prizes and featuring on the video.
