The certification — which makes the college the first in the country to attain such a feat — is given by the global body for professional accountants to colleges that would have attained good results for two years.

In an interview, Premier Business School co-founder Ngonidzashe Sanangura said the college had managed to surpass the international pass rate and was given the Platinum certificate, the highest level of accreditation awarded by ACCA.

“The Platinum certificate is a sign that we have been delivering good results. To us, it brings us satisfaction and we feel we have reached what we always wanted to achieve,” Sanangura said.

ACCA

The college will on Monday officially receive the Platinum certificate from ACCA UK at a function to be held at Meikles Hotel.

Sanangura said going forward, the college would offer Advanced Level commercials and a diploma in accounting and business studies as well to the “A” Level students as a way of enhancing its product offering.

The college offers ACCA qualifications, Diploma in Accounting and Business Studies and is also a recruitment partner for Edinburgh Business School for MBA, MSc in Marketing, MSc Human Resources, MSc Strategic Planning and MSc Financial Management.

Premier Business School was co-founded by Sanangura and Prince Chikate. It opened its doors in July 2011.
