Memory Moyo (19) and his two accomplices Shingirai Musonza (26) and Ishmael Chikosha (25), all of Unit N in Seke, were convicted on their own guilty pleas when they appeared before Chitungwiza regional magistrate, Lazarus Murendo last week.

They were ordered to pay the fines by today or risk a 25-day jail term each.

Circumstances were that on December 28, Musonza entered OK Value Supermarket at Makoni business centre and stole two car sprays, a packet of Lacto and a packet of biscuits worth $7,60. He was captured on CCTV and apprehended.

On December 29, 2015, Moyo stole a pie and fresh milk worth $1 and was also captured on CCTV.

On the same day, Chikosha allegedly stole two 400ml of body lotion worth $5,98 and he was caught on CCTV hiding the goods.

The two were handed over to the police. Tatenda Mukatera prosecuted.
