MULTIPLE award-winning South African songbird, Zahara is expected in the country tomorrow afternoon aboard a British Airways plane, ahead of her one-off performance on the same day at the People’s Choice Awards ceremony slated for Harare the International Conference Centre.

The Loliwe singer will fly into the country with her full band courtesy of Devine Assignments in conjunction with local radio station, Star FM.
At the potentially explosive gig, Zahara will also launch her recently released 13-track album titled Country Girl, which tackles issues of self-discovery, jealous love, players and the evils of money.
Born Bulelwa Mkutukana, Zahara will be supported by an array of musicians among them dendera ace Sulumani Chimbetu, gospel musicians Mathius Mhere and Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave, Bulawayo-based hip-hop singer CalVin and Jah Prayzah.
Tickets for the concert are pegged at $10 and $20 for the general entrance and VIP respectively and are being sold at City Sports Bar, Private Lounge, Red Rose Saloons, Goldtech, Talk City Joina City branch, The Place Restaurant, NSSA Building, and Holly’s Hotel.
The two in one event will see some artistes who have made a mark this year being honoured.
