I-Octane sang his way into the fans hearts, proving beyond doubt that he was among the finest reggae music icons alive today. His appearance on stage elicited loud cheers and whistles from the packed ground full of dancehall lovers, who could not wait to sample the man’s music live.
Many used their smart phones to capture the performance and freeze it in time for future memories.
I-Octane dished out both old and new songs, as his fans sang along in harmony, particularly the songs Weh she Have, Get Gyal, Zion Awaits, Happy Tym, False Pretender and Hold Her in My Arms.
Clad in a grey shirt and jeans, the dancehall star proved that he is not only loved in Jamaica, but also here in Zimbabwe, as he came on stage with a lot of infectious vibe.
Despite the fact that most of the supporting acts who were billed to perform did not appear, the Saturday night show was made brighter by the performance of the local dancehall artistes like Mostaf, Freeman, Kinnah, Ninja President and Winky D, who did not disappoint and managed to rock the show with their outstanding performances.
