A witness, Tafadzwa Gambiza, told NewsDay that the billboard and another one with Telecel adverts gave in to the gusty winds, which swept through Kwekwe.

“The victim was passing by when strong winds hit the billboards. The Magaya billboard, which was put up on Monday, came crushing down and hit the vendor in the head, injuring him,” he said.

The billboards belong to Adverting Industries.

Magaya’s Night of Turnaround, set for Harare next month, is expected to attractthousands of people.
