The group will also be part of the Harare International Carnival procession on Saturday during which they will showcase their samba dance routines at the festival running under the theme Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

At the show, which is the major highlight of the festival since it roared into life early this month, the samba dancers will share the stage with local raunchy dancers Beverly Sibanda and Zoey Sifelani, who will complement Momo King’s performance with their sexy dance routines.

Speaking to NewsDay, Bev’s manager Hapaguti Mapimhidze said they had done enough rehearsal ahead of tonight’s show, urging fans to come in their numbers.

“Bev and the Sexy Angels are ready to prove their dancing prowess as they share the stage with the samba dancers,” he said. “We are happy with this platform to showcase our talent and also learning from the people who know exactly how samba is done.”

Meanwhile, Lasanza cultural group from the Democratic Republic of Congo also arrived yesterday in the afternoon with Congolese soukous singer Koffi Olomide expected to jet in later for a performance at the Carnival Rhumba Night at LongCheng Plaza in Belvedere tomorrow.

At the show, the Loi singer will share the stage with local artistes among them Diamond Musica, BV Labien Musica, Madiz and Lady Storm.
