The two musicians who have been fighting for territorial supremacy presented a united front at Peter Moyo’s album launch, last Friday, much to the surprise of many people in attendance.

During Stunner’s performance on the night, Mudiwa was on his feet dancing to the rapper’s songs before commending Stunner for his performance.

“Don’t believe everything you read in the media, Stunner. That was a good performance, my brother,” said Mudiwa.

Stunner reciprocated the gesture by grabbing Mudiwa’s hand to say goodbye when the gospel singer was on stage performing.

Mudiwa said he was calling for a truce with Stunner because their differences were negatively affecting the growth of rap music in the country.

“While we are concentrating on our differences, other genres are taking over. United we stand, divided we fall. I am a Christian and I should make peace with every musician including Stunner,” said Mudiwa.

The beef between Mudiwa and Stunner is well documented.

The rival between the two started a few years ago with each of the antagonists claiming that he was a better rapper than the other. They were also at loggerheads on who was well groomed. The beef then degenerated into a verbal attack on social media.

Mudiwa took to the social media platform on June 15 this year, fuming that Stunner had “stolen” his song.

Stunner then responded through a track which was aimed at Mudiwa called Unamamhepo (You suffer from hysteria).
