THE Institute of Administration and Commerce (IAC) will next week host its annual conference in Victoria Falls to discuss the Zimbabwean economic situation and craft strategies and solutions for economic development.

THE Institute of Administration and Commerce (IAC) will next week host its annual conference in Victoria Falls to discuss the Zimbabwean economic situation and craft strategies and solutions for economic development.

The conference will be held at the Elephant Hills Hotel from September 23 to 26.

In a statement on Wednesday, IAC said the objective of the conference was to improve skills, knowledge and expertise of delegates, for excellent service delivery at their various workplaces guided by a code of professional practice.

IAC South Africa president Dereck Johnstone will deliver the keynote address at the conference. He will address on the importance of collaboration between South African and Zimbabwean economies.

IAC embraces international best practices in all its Continuous Professional Development programmes.

The conference has a line-up of speakers from international, local and regional organisations. Notable presenters will include Pan-African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) chief executive Vickson Ncube, Delta board chairman Canaan Dube, Old Mutual marketing executive Gerald Chinogara, Zimra commissioner Tichawona Chiradza, ART Corporation chairman Moses Chundu and other high-profile presenters.

IAC said the experts and policymakers will present papers on key economic, governance, leadership, organisational transformation, international and local business trends, competitiveness and more.

IAC said the conference is a must-attend dialogue for policymakers, senior government officials, directors and CEOs among others.

IAC offers qualifications registered and accredited with the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development. IAC is a member of both the Public Accountants and Auditors Board and PAFA.
