The show, which is being organised by 2Kings Entertainment, is pencilled for The Odyssey Bar and Restaurant.

Zhakata, who is regarded as a legend in music circles, will share the stage with the new crop of artistes and bring in his experience and mature style and is expected to show the ropes to the Young Igwe.

Show organiser, Kudzai Matongo, affectionately known as Dee Nosh, said preparations were at an advanced stage.

“All is in place and we are set to bring the best show in Kadoma this year; this is a must-attend show,” Dee Nosh said.

Zhakata is expected to belt out songs such as Hupenyu Mutoro, Mugove and Maruva Enyika.

This show will also give Moyo and Chimbetu a platform to exhibit their art and cement their fanbase in the gold-mining town.
