MORE than ten vendors including leaders of National Vendors Union of Zimbabwe, Sten Zvorwadza and director Samuel Wadzai were beaten up and arrested after demonstrating against their confiscated wares by municipal police.

NewsDay captured the demonstration and violence that took place at Town House where the demonstrators, mostly women demanded the release of their wares and colleagues who had been bundled into a council truck and were being taken to Harare Central Police station.
