ZANU PF national commissar Saviour Kasukuwere yesterday said the ruling party had reversed the no-confidence vote passed against acting Manicaland provincial chairman Samuel Undenge and order was now prevailing in the province.

Undenge was briefly booted out of the party’s provincial executive on Tuesday after being accused of fanning factionalism, among other charges.
His expulsion was seen as a reflection of deep-rooted factional fights in the province.
“He (Undenge) is still in charge and the situation is under control. We are working on restructuring in the province and Cde (Sydney) Sekeramayi is in charge of that,” Kasukuwere told NewsDay in an interview after his meeting with Harare City councillors.
Kasukuwere, who is also Local Government minister, threatened to cause the arrest of land barons and corrupt councillors regardless of whether they were MDC-T or Zanu PF.
He also said there was no going back on efforts to eject street vendors and get rid of fraudsters.
“It’s no longer game-on as usual. You should sweat towards development. It’s painful for residents to sell tomatoes and buy land from barons that council will demolish. Gloves are off,” he warned.
