The 10-track album was recorded at Media for Development Trust, one of the country’s premium studios, in a bid to maintain a high standard of quality produced by Elson Chivandikwa and Family of God Church Choir.

Project manager Trust Mashingaidze told NewsDay they hope their music will help bring people to salvation.

“Our vision is to achieve the manifestation of the presence of God through song leading people to salvation, healing and deliverance,” he said.

Written by various members of the choir, songs from the album are receiving significant airplay on national radio.

“The public’s response to this debut album has been awesome, so have been the sales. The money from sales is being directed towards our next album which is set to be launched later in the year,” Mashingaidze said.

In April and June they performed in South Africa for the second time and this month they are off to Botswana, Zambia and Namibia performing at the Southern Africa Conventions.

On their return they are billed to take their music to the rural community as they will be performing in Rural Conventions across the country.

“The Rural Conventions are a good platform for use as a choir that wants to reach out to people from all walks of life” said Mashingaidze in conclusion.
