Mugabe will attend Mozambique’s 40th Independence anniversary celebrations in Maputo today.

Opposition parties and observers have been complaining that Mugabe was neglecting Zimbabwe and flying from one country to another on African Union, Sadc and personal business.

Mugabe’s foreign travels came under Parliamentary scrutiny last week after Kuwadzana MP Nelson Chamisa (MDC-T) accused the veteran leader of running a Wi-fi government.

Other observers said because of Mugabe’s travels, Zimbabwe was now on auto-pilot, adding that the Zanu PF leader was now out of touch with reality on the ground.
