The Lowveld-based side who are enjoying a top spot position after four games of the season have not yet met any of the big guns in the league-defending Dynamos, Highlanders, ZPC Kariba and How Mine, but get their first real test against the Green Machine.

They started the season against a moderate Hwange side and they emerged as winners after they clobbered the Nation Dube-coached side 5-2 before they were held to an one-all stalemate draw against.

Buffaloes in their next encounter in Rusape. On Good Friday they made a light work of army side Chapungu 3-0 before labouring to a 1-0 win against the league’s newcomers Dongo Sawmills at Vengere Stadium on Easter Monday. Triangle chairman Lovemore Matikinyidze is oozing with confidence.

“We are not talking of the championship after our good start. It’s still too early to think about that. What we need is to work very hard and taking each game as it comes,” he said.

“We are hoping to collect maximum points against Caps United, yes they are good side but l believe with our team we are going to do it.”

Triangle will be missing the services of their instrumental duo of Malvern Gaki and Praise Tonha who are travelling to Cameroon today with the Young Warriors for their AII-Africa Games qualifier match against Cameroon in Yaoundé.

The Sugar Sugar Boys will pin their hopes on goal poachers Richard Kawondera and Felix Kuswatuka while midfield workhorse Hardlife Mavhundi and Pasca Manhanga are also expected to play a pivotal role on Sunday.

On the other hand, Caps put their How Mine debacle (where they failed to fulfill the match due to a player boycott) behind them to draw 1-1 against Dynamos in a dull Harare Derby on Sunday.
