CHAMPIONS Dynamos are seeking a highly qualified coach with at least a Caf A licence coaching certificate or better ahead of the 2015 season as they seek to replace out-going head coach Kalisto Pasuwa.

Pasuwa, who won the 2014 Premier Soccer League championship for a record fourth successive season with Dynamos, announced recently that he would leave the champions when his current contract expires at the end of this month.

And the Dynamos hierarchy has moved quickly to look for a replacement and will advertise the post in the country’s main stream media tomorrow (Thursday) and Sunday with the closing date for the applications set at December 14.

According to the advert, the preferred candidate should have the following pre-requisites:

1) Caf A Licence or better, 2) Three years experience, 3) Mature individual.

Dynamos secretary Webster Chikengezha said all coaches, including foreign coaches who meet the criteria, were encouraged to apply for the demanding job at Dynamos.

However, Caps United coach Taurai Mangwiro, who had been linked with the post, has ruled himself out, but ZPC Kariba coach Saul Chaminuka, who led his team to an incredible second-place finish, said he would be ready to talk about the job when the season ended.

“I will only be able to talk about that at the end of the season. I am here at ZPC Kariba and I am not talking to anyone until the season ends. We are preparing for the Mbada Diamonds Cup now and can only be able to talk to anyone after that,” Chaminuka said.

However, former Highlanders coach Kelvin Kaindu — a holder of a Uefa B coaching badge who helped save Triangle from relegation, is tipped to land the powerful post.

Bantu Rovers owner Methembe Ndlovu is the only other holder of a Uefa badge in Zimbabwe.

Dynamos lifted the league title with 57 points, having won 16, drawn nine and lost five, while ZPC Kariba finished second with 56 points winning 15 drawn 11 and lost four.

Caps United ended the campaign on 53 points after winning 15, drawing eight and losing seven.

FC Platinum finished fourth with 51 points after winning 13, drawing 12 and losing five.
