The shows will see both local and South African artistes going head to head in a clash of house and dancehall music.

In an interview with NewsDay, Pasipanodya said he has a vision of syncing the two genres.

“I have a vision in music promotion. I want to do a mix of Zimdancehall and house music to draw crowds of both genres,” he said.

Pasipanodya said the weekend shows will feature a host of celebrated names in both genres.

“This weekend we are shaking Pagomba Café in Beitbridge on Friday at a show dubbed House Music vs Dancehall,” he said.

“On the line up we have Merciless Zimbabwe from ZBC’s Jamdown and he will be playing with his selector Tony E.

“We also have the Maddhouse Crew, former Star FM DJ Sky Topper featuring 9 Voice, Jacky B Bango of Silver Stone, Badman, Cello Culture and Transit Crew, MC Ghetto Junior and South Africa’s top house Dj Websta Maketa from Durban’s Finest .”

The same troupe travels across the border to Mussina on the next day.

“On Saturday December 13 we will be staging our show at Black Chain Arena across the border in Mussina with the same line up,” said Pasipanodya.

“I am a proudly Zimbabwean and I will always bring entertainment back home.”

SVS entertainment is a South Africa-based promotion company founded by Pasipanodya last year and is credited for organising Judgement Yard’s first South African tour when it was at its peak in Zimbabwe.

From then SVS has hosted scores of events including corporate functions.

“We have always had a strong sponsorship from Euro Dollar and Western Union with full backing from their co-owner George Mazambani,” said Pasipanodya.
