KILLIAN Musiyiwa and Itai Motsi are the winners of this year’s Mimosa Mining Company Corporate Day Golf Challenge which was held at Roland Park in Zvishavane on Saturday.

The pair beat a quality field of 92 golfers, who included Industry and Commerce minister Mike Bimha (24th place), Mimosa executive chairman Winston Chitando, topping the leaderboard with 44 points in the four-ball better ball event.

The winners walked away with generators each.

In second place was Mike Jumo and Stanley Kwangwari on 43 points and took home 130l Kelvinator fridges. Nicholas Manjoro and Collen Musundire were in third place with 43 points as well.

A particularly stunning performance was exhibited by the female pair of Nancy Dube and Esther Makoni, who came fourth, also with 43 points and walked away with garment steamers.

The event was sponsored by FC Platinum, whose play in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League and had its president George Mawere coming in 31st position, DSK Electrical which is owned by Bulawayo businessman Worth Mugabe, FBC Bank and Cell C, among the headline sponsors.
