Speaking in an interview with NewsDay after the scouting she said: “The scouting has been quite overwhelming today as we received more than 100 people who came to sign up and take pictures and what is amazing about it all is we even had people from Bulawayo coming through.”

Ladies braved the day and pitched to the scouting without wearing any make up since it was one of the few requirements.

There was also a fair share of male models and plus size models putting a balance to the group that had pitched for the inaugural scouting.

YGY said the next scouting would be in December.

“The next scouting is in December when I am back in the country and we ought to take more time searching for new talent concurrently taking the scouting to other cities since this time we only scouted in Mutare and Harare.”

YGY said she was scouting for Ford Modelling Agency, one of the biggest international modelling agencies that has been in existence since 1946 and has played a fundamental role influencing the industry of fashion and modelling.

The scouting was carried out under YGY scouting company, Miss Zim-USA’s company that is billed to be officially launched in December.
