POPULAR South African stand-up comedian Loyiso Gola jetted in the country yesterday for the annual Shoko Festival that started yesterday night at Alex Sports Club in Harare.

“Touch down in Harare, headlining the Shoko Fest tonight (yesterday) in Harare.” Loyiso tweeted.

Several arts events are expected to be held as part of the festival that will end on Sunday running under the theme Re-inspire-Re-Imagine.

Apart from the international artistes performing, a decorated line-up of local artistes among them Netsayi, Tehn Diamond, Amarra Brown, Ba Shupi, Jason Leroux and Rax are set add flavor to the festival.

The festival is attesting to be one of the country’s fastest growing international festivals and has established itself as a major event on the country’s annual arts calendar. Entertainment Reporter
