A house belonging to vice-president Joice Mujuru was on Thursday burnt down by a fire that was started in a bid to torch a snake at the residence but went out out control and ravaged the entire house.
Initial reports indicate that no one was injured and a few pieces of home furniture were salvaged.
The fire incident comes three years after Mujuru’s husband, a retired General, Solomon died in a mysterious fire that burnt down his Beatrice farm house.
