AWARD-WINNING interdenominational gospel choir Zimpraise will today record their highly-anticipated Season Seven Live DVD at the Glamis Arena, Harare Showground.

The live recording titled Revelation — It’s still all about Jesus, will see an array of gospel musicians among them Mathias Mhere, Sebastian Magacha, Mahendere Brothers, newly-formed ZimpraiseKids Choir, Takesure Worship Addicts, Prosper Mateva, Donna Chibaya and South African gospel sensation Lindiwe Tshabalala performing at the event.

Gospel enthusiasts will be in for a treat as the event is expected to attract hundreds of fans and Christians from across the country.

Speaking to NewsDay yesterday, Zimpraise public relations executive Farirai Macheka said the stage had been set for the event, urging fans to come in their numbers.

“We are geared up for our Season Seven Live DVD recording as we continue with our mission of ministering through music,” Macheka said.

Macheka said they had decided to move from their traditional venue, Harare International Conference Centre, to the Glamis Arena to accommodate a bigger crowd.

The choir is fast-growing and has managed to pull crowds with their excellent performances at several concerts.

The concert will start at 4pm and general admission is $5, VIP tickets are selling for $10 and VVIP $15 respectively.

Zimpraise choir has done concerts both locally and internationally since it was established in 2006.

At present, they have produced six projects, of which Volume 1 and 2 are audio productions.

Season three, called Power, was followed by Season four, Covenant, Season five, which was Zimpraise women’s project, titled Women of Praise and Season six, All About Jesus.
