The launch will feature some of the country’s finest stand-up comedians Clive Chigubhu, Nomsa Diana and Marshal Erlando performing a set each.
Zambezi News TV is a satirical show that was created by Magamba Network’s Comrade Fatso (Sam Monro) and Outspoken (Tongai Makawa), with commercial news presenters that delve into issues such as democracy, elections, corruption, sexism and racism, among others.
The show is poised to leave viewers in stitches with its star studded cast of seasoned comedians which includes Comrade Fatso, Outspoken, Michael Kudakwashe and Chipo Chikara.
Magamba Network’s media liaison officer Tafadzwa Sharaunga said fans should expect a hilarious showpiece and should come to the launch in their numbers.
“Fans should look forward to having a good laugh and expect topical issues to be provoked for debate,” Sharaunga said. He said they were looking forward to having the show screened on DStv as it had already debuted on some of the channels.
“We are hoping to have the show on DStv as it has already debuted on eNCA’s satirical show Late Night News and also on VUSU.”
