PRETORIA — Mamelodi Sundowns newcomer Kuda Mahachi is doing well on trial at French side AS Monaco, according to the midfielder’s agent Godwin Emmanuel.

Mahachi, who joined Sundowns in January, but spent the remainder of the season on loan at Zimbabwean side Highlanders, is expected to be assessed for a further week by the principality outfit.
“With a new coach at Monaco, it was important for Kuda to make a quick early impression, and by all accounts, he has done so,” Emmanuel is quoted as saying by Downs’ official website.
“He is determined to win a contract as he wishes to play Champions League football in Europe, which is the dream of every young player. He has another week or so to convince the technical team and coach of Monaco and it is currently looking very positive.”
