The video has received a favourable response from fans on different television online platforms that include iTunes, Amazon, YouTube and MTV among others.

Born in Goromonzi and raised in Domboshawa’s Nyamande Village, the 30-year-old said he had always been passionate about music.

“Music is my life passion, I write a lot about love. Love makes people’s hearts fill with all kinds of emotions and love brings people together,” Tarry Mass said.

In the past five years, the musician has written over 100 songs which have all been produced and were ready for release, although he had only released seven tracks.

He said Solo, which he chose to be his first video, was a song he specifically wrote and produced in one day for his fiancée.

Tarry Mass added that so far, all the stations he had presented it to had loved it and the response on YouTube was totally positive.

He said he was inspired by musicians and groups like Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Oliver Mtukudzi, Gladys Knight, Bob Marley and Lovemore Majaivana among others.

“I do not really go by any specific genre as I fuse dancehall, dance, RnB, Hip-Hop and Afrobeats,” he said.

The musician said he was ready to work with any Zimbabwean artiste who respects his values.

He, however, added that his main challenge as a Zimbabwean artiste in the UK was finances, but the people there had shown interest in the unique style of his music.
