Kaindu missed Sunday’s 4-0 thumping of Caps United at Barbourfields Stadium and no guarantees could be made on when he is returning.

Kaindu left the country last Friday to attend the last session and graduation ceremony for the high profile coaching course.

Club chairman Peter Dube yesterday said Kaindu could be leaving the UK today, but he could not guarantee when he would arrive in the country as that would depend on his flights and bookings.

“It is not just the graduation ceremony that he is attending, but he is wrapping up his course. We cannot be sure when he will be in the country, but we look forward to him to be there for the game against ZPC Kariba. But that will surely depends on his flights and his bookings. Even if he was to arrive a minute before the game, he is our coach and he would want his input. If we had the money, we would arrange for him to fly direct to Harare,” Dube said.

Highlanders and ZPC Kariba are the only two teams that have remained unbeaten going into round seven of the PSL programme and on Sunday the two sides posted emphatic victories with Bosso humiliating Caps United at Emagumeni, while the Saul Chaminuka-coached power utility outfit crushed Triangle United 5-1 at Gibbo Stadium.

Bosso and ZPC Kariba are square on 12 points with Bosso at the top of the log standings by goal difference, but the two sides gnawing right behind them with 11 points.

Buffaloes beat champions Dynamos 1-0 in Harare on Sunday while Hwange fell 0-2 to How Mine at Luveve Stadium on Saturday.

But competition is still on with Shabanie Mine and How Mine also trailing the four top teams with 10 points each and the weekend games could bring out a changed state of affairs with the Zvishavane-based side hosting Dynamos while the gold miners meet city neighbours Chicken Inn at Luveve Stadium on Saturday.

Fixtures Friday: Harare City v Triangle (Rufaro SS9) SATURDAY: Caps United v Black Rhinos (National Sports Stadium SS9), Chicken Inn v How Mine (Luveve), Chiredzi FC v Chapungu (Chishamiso) Sunday: ZPC Kariba v Highlanders (Gwanzura SS9), Shabanie Mine v Dynamos (Maglas), Buffaloes v FC Platinum (Sakubva), Hwange v Bantu Rovers (Colliery)
