HAVING faced a tough time to keep his father’s legacy alive, Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo says he has stabilised the ship that faced near collapse after being rocked by internal squabbles.

Speaking to NewsDay on the sidelines of his performance at Club Joy Centre in Glen Norah, Harare, over the weekend, the Young Igwe said: “Things have not been good for my camp, but everything has since been resolved. The fights have strengthened me as the leader and the Utakataka Express glory days are back,” Moyo said.

“I am determined to keep intact my late father’s legacy. I take constructive criticism, but people should appreciate that when I took over this band I was doing things different from music.”

Moyo has, however, called on fans to stand by him and his band, saying they should keep supporting Utakataka Express as a lot of goodies are in store for them.
