TENNIS Zimbabwe (TZ) will today announce a 10-member team to represent the country at the African Junior Under 18 Championships in Morocco next month.

The country’s best five girls and boys are set to make the trip to the North African country with Mutare’s Mantas Tennis Academy expected to provide some of the players.
TZ administrator Cliff Nhokwara confirmed the development yesterday to this publication and believes they will announce a strong squad that will raise the country’s flag high.
“We have selected the players, but it’s not proper to announce the players before l notify them. It’s not good that they will know the development through newspapers. l will notify you.”
Mantas coach Freeman Nyamukora said the players are usually selected using their national ranking points. “As usual players are selected using national ranking points and the team that was selected is going to raise our country’s flag high in Morocco.”
