The clubs will contest a preliminary round first leg tie from 7-9 February, with the return duel scheduled for the following week. “It will be my first time playing in the Champions League, and I am looking forward to the challenge of competing outside of the PSL again,” Zimbabwean international Musona told KickOff.com yesterday.

“It is an opportunity for me to express myself outside of my usual environment, and to challenge myself against different opposition,” adds the 23-year-old, who is on loan at Chiefs from German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.

With Lehlohonolo Majoro now surplus to requirements at the club according to coach Stuart Baxter, and Caf player registration closing yesterday, the Glamour Boys now only have Musona, Bernard Parker and Kingston Nkhatha to look to in the strikers’ department.
