WARRIORS striker Nyasha Mushekwi was on target for his Belgian side KV Oostende who secured a valuable away goal in a 1-1 draw at Lokeren in the semi-final first leg match of the Belgian Cup on Tuesday night.

It was Mushekwi’s third goal of the season since his loan move to the European club from South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.
The former Caps United striker gave his side a 17th minute lead, finishing off a Fernando Canesin clever pass following a counter attack.
Reports from Belgium show that Mushekwi, who played the whole match, had another glorious chance a minute later, but drew a smart save from the Lokeren goalkeeper. The home side levelled matters just after the hour mark, but Mushekwi’s team would certainly fancy their chance of qualifying for the finals of the league’s top cup tournament after getting the all-important away goal.
The two teams meet in the decisive reverse fixture on Wednesday, where Oostende need just a goalless draw to make it to the finals. If the qualify, they will meet the winner between Gent and Zulte-Waregem.
Oostende qualified for the semis after upsetting pre-tournament favourites and title holders Genk.
Mushekwi has been struggling in front of goal since his move to Oostende, scoring just twice in 17 league games he has featured.
