Suits, cars, glamour at 2014 National Budget presentation

It was all glitz and glamour on Thursday at Parliament building when Finance minister Patrick Chinamasa presented a $4,1 billion 2014 National Budget.
Ministers and House of Assembly members – all dressed in fancy designer suits and outfits – came in vehicles of different shapes, sizes and colours.

A suit…even if u go to any function @ a rural school, you will see all of the teachers and invited guests eg masabhuku & local councillors in suits bt ofcourse not as expensive bt in that village vanenge vachitotyisawo. U should not deceive the public in a one sided view. being a politician is a carrier n pple ve to stop being fooled into thinking that one political part has the interest of people at heart. these politicians think of themselves first before everyone else. sacrifice was done during the liberation struggle n nw pple r enriching themselves save for a few. i dont understand why pple who claim to be God fearing want their fellow citizens to be hungry in order for a certain political party to rule this country. fellow Zimbabweans lets work for the development of our country n welfare of our children n stop sabotaging others’ efforts trying to potray them as bad. during the GPA most debates in parliament were centered on their welfare. the rival parties disagreed on almost evert except on need to increase allowances and acquisition of latest cars. wake up zimbo and stop bein used to achieve other ppls’ goals.

    • Communist, not just capitalism but life in general everywhere even in the rural areas. To those who have little the little they have will be given to those who have? For those who do not see the point of the story in pictures, it is clear that the poor are alone and should not expect any help from the rich guys pictured here who have their welfare at heart first, second and third even fourth? Civil servants forget the promises, you are on your own?

      We put those people in power and now we know they will not deliver on their promises? Do we have the power or that was also taken from us. That being the case, we are doomed?
