IT’S that time of the year again when the football fraternity is replete with rumours about the most outstanding player of the season and those that will grace the Soccer Stars of the Year calendar.

There is no doubt the 2013 season has been one of the most intriguing in the history of the Premiership and with a panel of football writers and coaches set to select the outstanding players of the season this Saturday, it will not be an easy task for those given the mandate. Triangle: Pasca Manhanga: One of the most creative midfielders who brought stability in Gishon Ntini’s side. He was the stand-out performer at the Chiredzi outfit.

Shabanie Mine: Pervington Zimunya: Has been one of the outstanding players for Shabanie who can be considered to be on the calendar for the soccer stars.

Buffaloes: Striker Stephen Sibanda deserves a place on this year’s calendar for consistent performances.

Shabanie Mine:Tarisai Rukanda: Has been a regular for Shabanie and was instrumental for the Zvishavane outfit which kicked Dynamos out of the BancABC Super 8r Cup.

Chicken Inn: Tendai Ndoro: A goal predator whose goals reminded many of the former Arsenal great Dennis Bergkamp. Ndoro leads the goal scorer’s chart with an incredible 18 goals and has a chance to surpass the 18 goals netted by last season’s top goal scorer Nelson Mazivisa.
